The morning of Nov. 2 will be devoted to fish and seafood-related topics. Sea Grant experts in commercial fishing, aquaculture, fishing communities and seafood technology will give overviews of seafood availability, quality, safety and resource status. The program is designed for food and health educators, such as home economists, registered dietitians, nurses and environmental health specialists, seafood professionals, food writers and others who want to broaden their knowledge of current seafood issues. The information may be especially helpful to suppliers and retailers who field customer inquiries about seafood safety and quality.
