• Publications are free unless a price is noted. When necessary, please prepay with cash, check or money order payable to University of California Regents.

• Order by first author's last name and the first several words of the publication title. Include the publication number for books in the Sea Grant Series.

• Tax is included in the cost of the book, and postage is included when mailing to an address with a U.S. zip code. There is an additional charge for airmail postage for International shipments. Please contact the Communications Department to request international airmail rates.

• Publication fees help to offset printing and distribution costs. The program does not profit from the sale of its publications.

• A complete collection of all Sea Grant funded work from 31 programs is maintained on the National Sea Grant Library (NSGL) Web site. The database is searchable and more than 15,000 digital publications are available. Publications not available from California Sea Grant may be borrowed for one month from the NSGL (limit of ten publications). Loan policies are posted on the NSGL Web site and a loan request may be submitted directly from there.
