California Sea Grant Publication Guidelines for 2010
These guidelines apply to authors including, but not limited to researchers, state fellows, research assistants and workshop conveners funded by California Sea Grant. Please refer to them when preparing any document for publication that is a result (in whole or in part) of your Sea Grant funding.
How to Acknowledge California Sea Grant Support
All print and electronic publications resulting fully or partially from California Sea Grant funding should acknowledge that support with the following statement or an appropriate version*:
“This publication (web site, video, etc.) was prepared by [author's name] under NOAA Grant #_______, California Sea Grant Project #_______, through NOAA's National Sea Grant College Program, U.S. Dept. of Commerce; and was supported in part by ______________ [e.g., the California Natural Resources Agency]. The statements, findings, conclusions and recommendations are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the aforementioned organizations.”
*If the publication does not lend itself to the above statement, as may be the case with workshop or conference agendas and posters, please incorporate the California Sea Grant logo into the design. To obtain our logo, visit http://www.csgc.ucsd.edu/ABOUTUS/CSGClogo.html or call 848-534-4440.
