The Central Coast Marine Protected Area Socioeconomic Baseline Data Collection Project June 2007–May 2008

This report summarizes the key elements of the Central Coast Marine Protected Area Socioeconomic Baseline Data Collection Project. The project was conducted as an important component of a multi-disciplinary research and monitoring program designed to further the prospective benefits of California’s Marine Life Protection Act. The program was a collaborative effort between California’s State Coastal Conservancy, Ocean Protection Council, California Department of Fish and Game, and the California Sea Grant College Program.
